Firearms Instruction Responsibility Safety Training
F.I.R.S.T. Steps Orientation classes are great for those who either:

Each of the NRA F.I.R.S.T. Steps Orienatation classes are designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific action type for each category of firearm (pistol, rifle, shotgun). These courses are at least 4 hours long and includes classroom and range time. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular gun's parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the gun; and, continued opportunities for skill development.
NRA F.I.R.S.T. Step Orientation classes are abbreviated versions of the NRA Basic Shooting Courses for pistol, rifle and shotgun.
