Maria Alampi, CEO of Stir and Shoot, LLC is an NRA Training Counselor. She, and her late husband, Anthony, started Stir and Shoot, LLC as an outlet to their shared, greatest passions: cooking and shooting sports.
The Alampi name is very well known and respected at NRA Headquarters and throughout the shooting community, as well as in regional political circles.
Recently, Maria gained national attention when she was 1 of only 5 women NRA Training Counselors chosen from across the country to be a member of the NRA's first-ever National Womens' Training Team. The Team debuted at the NRA 2011 Convention where it conducted an "NRA Pistol Instructor Training Course for Women Only". Since then, Maria has conducted Women Only Pistol Instructor courses for female instructor candidates as local as the tri-state area of NJ, NY & CT, and, as far away as Missouri.
Upcoming class locations for the NRA's National Womens' Training Team include: Georgia, Colorado, California, and the Pacific Northwest. Each day, NRA Headquarters and the Team members receive additional requests for Women Only training courses to be held throughout the country. As a Training Counselor, Maria not only mentors the women instructors she has personally trained, but, also responds to requests from established women instructors in the northeast region of the United States who seek guidance and assistance. Team building is what it's all about!
